I'll Dance Around The World!

Someday Alan and I are going to do what this guy did. Alan, the proper man that he is, probably won't do the goofy dancing part (except when we get to Papua New Guinea then, heck, I'll make him !) Someday --- when we finally make it out of the financial rubble inflicted by feeding, clothing, sheltering, socializing and college-educating our kids---we'll travel the world!

It's good to have dreams... It makes growing old, retiring, and turning into the "old people" at family gatherings bearable :-) Just as long as I can dance around the world before then, so I'll have plenty of memories to occupy my time as I maneuver my walker or sit in my rocking chair at the nursing home.

Oh, yeah. My husband says I have to get over my extreme distaste for flying and digging my nails into his arm when there's turbulence before we can do it. I forgot about that. Hmm. I'll make it happen. I know I can. Plus we're already off to a good start. Between the two of us we can already check off about a dozen of the places they show on this clip. So, "Hello, USA. Hello, World"!

What fun! You can work on the nail digging, he can work on the silly dancing! I hope everything is going your way out there in your part of the world:)

I love that video. It is amazing what this guy got people to do!

I love to travel, too. Like you, that is my dream, to go to different exotic places with my hubby (and hopefully my kids).

Love the Irish layout :-)

That is amazing! I was trying to see if it may have been faked but the India one and the one where he got by a wave, man! I think I can do the Austin, Texas one or Florida and New York, but no promises...

You are funny with that "walker" bit. No worries, you're a Pinay, so you'll still be graceful in your not so soon golden years. lol!

I like your new header. So cool!

What a cool way to start off my day! I love to travel and experience other cultures. Btw, my in-laws served a mission in Papua New Guinea. :)

What a great idea!!! I want to travel more!

Maybe if you took a sleeping pill before flying?

I love that video!!! I've been to a small handfull of those places. Cory has been to MANY of them. Including Kuwait City!! Too bad we didn't think to take pics/video of him dancing in all the places he's been!

I really want to travel the world, but I also have an extreme distaste for flying. But I'll do it if it means I won't be a boring old person sitting around at family parties who all the parents have to prompt their children to go, "give great, great Auntie Lesley a kiss."

Traveling is my dream!! I love to travel and would love to go all over the world. I love learning about new places and food from far way lands. But for the mean time, I am having fun watching other people have fun :).

I would have to agree about getting over the fear of flying. Yikes! That could put a real damper on things. You might have to go by yourself and dig your nails into the arm of a total innocent by-sitter. Could get ugly.

I thought I cornered the market on Bad Dancing. I've seen this video before but you inspired me to visit Matt's website to read his story.

How cool is that?:To realize a dream! Good luck in getting Alan on board with yours. I can't wait to see the video!

I don't believe half of it. In this day and age of technology anything is possible. I think it is all a fake. It is all done with mirrors. As for my family committing themselves to walkers, and rocking chairs, and sitting in corners etc I DON'T THINK SO It was fun though especially Giant's Causway.

Something about that video gave me chills. I know it's meant to be this goofy guy dancing in random places, but something about the smallness of the world and the greatness of humanity came through....

I have always loved to travel. My hubby and I have a long list of places to go, things to do...

So, um, Dramamine works wonders for being able to ignore turbulence. I want to go around the world too, so let's do it together!
